How it Started

Hi my name is Ayya Lira and I am a San Antonio native and have been grooming in the North/ North east area of town for the past 13 years. I have always had an instant connection with animals, but dogs specifically. I loved being their pack leader and sometimes even believe they think IM a dog! There is something so magical about them! They are so smart and I'm truly gifted in being able to easily communicate with them.  As a child we had owned many dogs, so I grew up with all sizes, primarily Rottweilers! I'm so happy to have the opportunity in opening  Fine Whines & Lickers, especially since my primary inspiration was your pets! My family contributed so much of their own unique talents to help make this place all that it is. It truly is my honor to have somewhere your dog enjoys to be. I strive to provide a better experience for your pets spa day.

  In opening FW&L I wanted to share my own routine with my pet with you by creating our doggy bar and spa! My dog Ruger (Aussie) is spoiled to say the least. Me being the clean freak that I am, my pup gets bathed every 2 weeks to keep his shedding under control. We try our best to keep him at a healthy weight but struggle as most pet parents do. These days our pets' treats have so many fillers and added ingredients they could definitely do without. So, when opening FWL we decided to create a treat that dogs could enjoy AT the spa that had the best nutrients without taking away the flavor that our pets LOVE and CRAVE! (& that are also well- deserved). We use a yummy beef or chicken bone broth recipe that is made to order,  has no preservatives, and must be refrigerated. I'm able to keep Ruger's long fur shiny with our skin targeted supplement, and also manage his sensitive tummy with our digestive targeted supplement. I hope your pets enjoy our "doggy brew" as much as ours do!
